Our Under 13 Gaelic Football team excelled this year.  We won the Eastern Final.  We beat Ferrybank at Walsh Park.  We then played St. Declans, the A Champions.  We beat them by a few points.  Unfortunately the third division champions got the better of us.  After that we trained hard for the Big County Final.

Mr Flynn named the team.  We were all excited.  We went through a tough campaign.  We were beaten once by the Holy Cross and we were beaten well.  We then went on to play Portlaw in the semi final.  We played really well and won that day.  The Eastern Final was the next hurdle, as I said at the start we played Ferrybank.  It was the toughest game we played.

Our training and dedication paid off, we won the match.  We were back at Walsh Park for the County Final.  Our opponents were Glenbeg.  The score line ended at 3-6 to 2 points.  I was the Captain of the side and I lifted my second shield in Walsh Park.  I was very proud.  It was one of the best matches I've ever played.
