Sacred Heart Hurling Club
Hello, my name is Aaron. I play hurling for Sacred Heart Hurling Club. Last year we made the U13 hurling final and we were beaten by Ferrybank. recently coaches from all different clubs came to the Ursuline and showed us their techniques and skills. The Under 13 Gaelic is starting in 3 weeks for anybody who is interested.
Every Saturday the Under 6-7s train in the Ursuline and after that the Under 8s train. There are loads of past pupils that represented Waterford at under age level. There are currently 4 people training with the Waterford Under 12 Development Squad. They are David, otherwise known as Figo, Josh, Eoin and myself. Not long ago, when we won the Under 13 County Final, Ken McGrath presented us with our medals, so that was a major honour.
