Féile na Scoileanna

Craic agus ceol le Feile na Scoileanna.

Children from Waterford city and beyond converged on the Theatre Royal last week.  They took part in the 41st Feile na Scoileanna.  The festival ran from Tuesday to Thursday (April 12-24).

All manner of craic agus ceol was to be had.  Costumes and colourful facepaints brought the event to life.  School choirs took their place alongside pieces of drama in both irish and english.

Classic stories like The Pied Pipier of Hamlin were retold by a new generation.  A maritime theme also popped up.  Pupils from Scoil Lorcáin performed 'In Viking Times'.

Each put in a fantastic effort and helped Feile Scoileanna live up to its excellent reputation.
