Seamus Ryan and Harry Flynn Principal of Scoil Lorcáin are Stephan Green & Glen Lynch. Both gentlemen have spent the last 13 days canoeing from Bellick (border of Co. Fermanagh) to Waterford trying to raise some desperately needed funds for the Kireka School for Children with Special Needs in Uganda, which Scoil Lorcáin twinned with earlier this year.

 
On behalf of Harry Flynn, the teachers and pupils of Scoil Lorcáin and the Kireka School in Uganda we would like to offer our sincerest thanks for their heroic efforts.

 
Although they faced atrocious weather conditions and had to take refuge in a B&B one evening, they were self sufficient for the remainder of the trip camping out making the own meals etc. Both men arrived in very high spirits and were also welcomed by their family and friends.
