Scoil Lorcáin V Portlaw.
This game was played in miserable conditions last week in the school field. Scoil Lorcáin played against the wind and rain in the 1st half and were soon into their stride. Kevin Allen-O Neill opened the scoring with a point and shortly afterwards the same player got his teams first goal. Portlaws only score was a point.
With the wind behind them, Scoil Lorcáin put Portlaw under a lot of pressure in the 2nd half and further goals from Shane O Donovan and Kevin Allen O Neill left them in a commanding position. Portlaw replied with two points but Scoil Lorcáin struck again with 2 goals from David Richardson and Darragh Flynn to leave the final score Scoil Lorcáin 5-5, Portlaw 0-3.
Scoil Lorcáin are now through to the semi-final of the U13A Hurling Competition.
